A 96-year-old woman was making a right turn in a red Toyota Corrolla about 8:25 p.m. in the 7200 block of North Western Avenue when she struck a man who was crossing the street.
A man was critically injured after he was struck my an elderly woman Tuesday night in West Rogers Park on the North Side.
A 96-year-old woman was making a right turn in a red Toyota Corrolla about 8:25 p.m. in the 7200 block of North Western Avenue when she struck a man who was crossing the street, Chicago police said.
The man, 75, suffered trauma to the back of the head and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition, police said.
The woman refused paramedic’s help, according to police. Citations are pending.
Area Three detectives are investigating.
