Giving an update Ben shared: ‘Yeah I’ll spare you at breakfast, but I have taken the strappings off, they were still on there.’
He went on to tell viewers about his rehab, confessing he was in more pain during physio than when he injured his leg in the first place.
‘The physio hurts way more than the injury. I’m having to try and get the flex and the bend through the knee.
‘It’s agony just trying to get to that point. It’s about trying to get extension through the knee. It’s much more painful than the injury itself.’

Explaining what exactly had happened to him in an earlier episode, Ben said: ‘A few weeks ago, you may remember I played in the cup final of the Arthur Dunn Veteran’s Cup, my old boys’ team.
‘Without realising, I have ruptured my ACL, I’ve torn my meniscus, and I’ve fractured part of my leg as well.’
