Man fatally shot inside vehicle in Grand Crossing: police

A man was fatally shot inside a vehicle in the 7300 block of South Dorchester Avenue July 10, 2021.

About 2:05 p.m., the 29-year-old was inside a vehicle in the 7300 block of South Dorchester Avenue, when someone shot him in the left side of his body.

A man was fatally shot inside a vehicle Saturday afternoon in Grand Crossing on the South Side.

About 2:05 p.m., the 29-year-old was inside a vehicle in the 7300 block of South Dorchester Avenue, when someone shot him in the left side of his body, Chicago police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounce dead.

The man has not yet been identified.

Area One detectives are investigating.
