NORTH HOLLYWOOD — Bridge demolition work will begin Monday on the 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard, with minor traffic disruption expected.
Burbank Boulevard will be closed in both directions during the work, which will take place nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Jan. 15.
Detours and re-routing will be clearly marked, and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained, according to Caltrans.
The work is part of the SR-170 sound-wall project.
The freeway crosses Burbank Boulevard near Colfax Avenue.
