Two weeks after news that super couple Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey had broken up, the actor has eliminated all traces of her and their relationship from his Instagram, Page Six reports.
With this move, a reportedly “heartbroken” Jordan, 35, has made it publicly known that he knows it’s over with the “special” woman who made him realize “what love is.” Meanwhile, Harvey, 25, showed that acceptance two weeks ago when the model/influencer deleted all photos of him from her social media accounts, Page Six said.
The two had been dating since the fall of 2021, but the romance apparently wasn’t meant to be. According to People, there is some suggestion that Jordan was ready to take the next, big step in the relationship, while the younger Harvey wasn’t quite so ready to commit.
“Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term,” a source told People, which also reported that both were left “heartbroken” by the breakup. “He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time.”
When the model’s father, “Family Feud” host Steve Harvey, confirmed the two had broken up on his morning radio show on June 6, he suggested the split was amicable.
“Look, as long as everyone can walk away in peace, be friends … I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing,” Steve Harvey said, while not elaborating on the reasons for the breakup. “As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do.”
A day after news broke that that romance was over, Jordan turned up courtside at Chase Center on June 5 to watch Steph Curry and the rest of the Warriors defeat the Boston Celtics 107-88 in Game 2 of the 2022 NBA finals. The “Creed” actor, who was People magazine’s 2020 Sexist Man Alive, attended the Warriors game with his good friend, the rapper Cordae, TMZ reported.

Jordan’s romance with Harvey prompted the usually private star to open up on social media and in interviews about his feelings for her. Jordan very publicly celebrated their one-year anniversary of dating in November by posting a gallery of photos of the two of them looking happy and in love, People reported.
In December, Jordan talked to the Hollywood Reporter about his prior reluctance to say too much about his private life. The Reporter noted that the actor, “known for his thirst-trap appeal,” had spent years “of mostly staying silent in the face of speculation about his romantic life.”
