Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria reveal gender of seventh child in sweet family video: ‘I feel so much joy’

Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria have announced that they have a baby girl on the way.

The expectant mom and the 30 Rock actor confirmed the news in a sweet video, getting the whole family in on their reveal.

In the clip, shared on the 38-year-old’s Instagram page, their six children could be seen offering their pearls of wisdom and advice to the upcoming addition to the Baldwin family.

‘Feel free to immerse in and express all parts of your identity without being shamed, limited or bullied,’ Hilaria informed.

‘You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone.’

Carmen, eight, Rafael, six, Leonardo, five, Romeo, three and Eduardo and Maria, both one, were on hand to share their tips for the tot, before their mom told the camera: ‘I can’t wait to meet you, my daughter’.

Alec, who is also dad to daughter Ireland Baldwin – who he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger – echoed this sentiment as their brood yelled: ‘My sister!’

Alongside the video, Hilaria in a lengthy caption: ‘It’s always been both fun and meaningful for me to find out what is the sex of my baby, yet, as I grow and learn, I want to do it a bit differently this time around.

‘What will make our baby a loving, whole person? What matters? What will make them feel seen, free, and proud? Perhaps nothing that we can define. We can only guide, encourage their spirit, listen, share our experiences, and learn from them, as we watch their own journey.

‘We can provide as good a life as we can, but the rest is up to our baby to discover their own, unique self.

‘I share with you our family’s hopes and wishes, encouragement and advice for our new baby. I feel so much joy, watching these children, who are filled with love and the most simple, kind wisdom. Hearing them share their words is one of my greatest gifts in life.

‘Join us in honoring this whole little independent human, growing inside of me.’

Fans and famous friends were left emotional by the footage, flooding Hilaria’s comments with praise.

Hilaria shared their baby joy in March, posting a video of the moment their children learned that they would be getting another sibling.

‘After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall,’ the pregnant star said at the time, posting a video of the moment they told their family about their new sibling.
